AECI Chosen as North American Distributor for Microtronix
Datacom products.
Boonton, NJ—September 6, 2007 - Microtronix®
Datacom Ltd. today announced it is teaming up with AECI
(American Electronics Components Inc) for the distribution
of Microtronix Datacom products. AECI, with distribution
facilities in New Jersey, Florida, Texas, as well as
in the UK will deliver cost effective Datacom solutions
for customers with legacy network switches.
The following Microtronix products will be available
through AECI: the Microtronix AMA Collection System,
which supports collection of AMA data from AMATPS, AMADNS
and XFER compatible network elements used in Telco public
and private telephone systems, the Microtronix original
Lucent 3A translators and the Microtronix 3000 and 9000
series of X.25 TCP/IP gateways will form the product
base for AECI’s new Datacom distribution division.
AECI will also commence marketing of the new Microtronix
MWI UniCom series of IP Telephony products. These exciting
new products provide Message Waiting Indicators for
legacy telephones to VoIP, VoIP to legacy and VMS systems
to VoIP devices by way of a SMDI to SIP MWI Router.
These products bridge the gap between VoIP technologies
such as Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Geomant’s
MWI 2007 or Nortel’s UM 2000 Unified Messaging
servers and legacy PSTN/PBX switches.
