The Microtronix MDR (Message Detail Recording) Translator provides a versatile interface between the ISDN Application Processor Interface (API) line of a Lucent 5ESS® Switch and a customer Call Accounting System (CAS). The Microtronix MDR Translator receives message detail records from the Switch through the API port via the D-channel and outputs ASCII MDR records through an asynchronous RS-232C serial port into the collector/CAS (1AESS® format). Output format is compatible with many of the call accounting packages available today. X.25 and TCP/IP networking options are also included for connecting to a remote CAS.

With the Microtronix MDR Translator, you will be able to process over 50,000 real time records per hour (36,000 at the rate of 10 per second limit from the 5ESS) directly into your call accounting software.
